Any rider holding a valid driving licence for the respective motorcycle category, together with a valid passport or national ID card, is eligible to rent a motorcycle.

Important: Under certain circumstances, MotoTrip BG reserves the right to refuse to enter into a rental agreement or to ask the customer to demonstrate their riding skills before the motorcycle is handed over.

Every customer submits a reservation request using the booking form available on the MotoTrip BG website.

The booking request includes:

• Rental start and end dates
• Motorcycle pick-up and return times
• Additional equipment
• Riding gear
• Any other requested services

After the request has been submitted, the customer will receive a confirmation email from MotoTrip BG.

If a suitable motorcycle is available, MotoTrip BG will send the customer a rental agreement together with a proforma invoice for the advance payment.

Once the payment has been received, we will issue an invoice and the reservation will be considered confirmed.

Yes. You only need to request this in advance when completing the reservation form.

If your preferred location is not listed in the booking form, it can be arranged separately by contacting our team.

When collecting the motorcycle, a handover protocol is signed by both parties.

The protocol records:

• the date and exact handover time
• the motorcycle's total mileage
• the fuel level
• the overall condition of the motorcycle

After a thorough inspection, the renter has the opportunity to record any existing scratches, defects or damage. This ensures that they will not be considered responsible for them when returning the motorcycle.

The same procedure is followed when the motorcycle is returned.

Yes. This must be requested in advance when completing the reservation form. The countries you intend to visit, as well as your planned itinerary, should also be provided.

Based on this information, we will prepare a notarised power of attorney, which will be handed over together with the motorcycle.

Yes. The maximum mileage allowance is 300 km per day.

The mileage limit is calculated based on the total distance travelled during the entire rental period divided by the number of rental days.

All motorcycles at MotoTrip BG are covered by compulsory Motor Third Party Liability (MTPL) insurance, valid within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

For travel outside Bulgaria, we provide our customers with an International Motor Insurance Certificate ("Green Card"), which certifies that the motorcycle has valid MTPL insurance and allows travel in the countries participating in the Green Card System without the need to purchase additional local insurance.

The insurance covers the rider's legal liability for property damage and bodily injury caused to third parties in the event of a road traffic accident, in accordance with the legislation of the country where the incident occurs.

An up-to-date list of the countries where the Green Card Certificate is valid can be found on the official website of the Council of Bureaux.

Important: The insurance is valid only if the rider is not under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances. If this condition is violated, the insurance becomes invalid and the rider is fully responsible for all damages, expenses and legal liabilities.

No. The insurance does not cover damage to the rented motorcycle.

Any damage caused during the rental period is the responsibility of the renter and will be deducted from the security deposit in accordance with the terms of the rental agreement.

If the repair costs are lower than the amount of the security deposit, the remaining balance will be refunded to the customer.

The rental fee and the security deposit can be paid using one of the following methods:

• Cash
• Bank transfer
• Credit or debit card via POS terminal

The security deposit is payable when the motorcycle is collected.

If no damage or missing equipment is found upon its return, the full security deposit will be refunded.

Yes. All MotoTrip BG motorcycles are equipped with a phone mount and 12V, USB and USB-C charging outlets.

For smartphones that support wireless charging, we also provide wireless charging phone mounts.

Yes. Depending on your preferences, the motorcycle can be equipped with:

• Top case
• Aluminium or plastic side panniers
• Waterproof soft saddlebags
• Tank bag
• Other additional equipment

Yes. Upon prior request, the motorcycle can be equipped with a Garmin Zumo GPS navigation system.

Yes. We offer motorcycle riding gear for rent, including:

• Helmet
• Gloves

Yes. During your motorcycle trip, we can safely store your luggage until the end of your rental period.
